No organization can escape from crisis. Under complicated social conditions, organizations are increasingly faced with the issue of"how to cope with crisis". Although the emergence and exacerbation of a crisis may be resulted from many factors, communication is a fundamental task for organizations. This research, by taking the"October Revolution"Event of CSL between Oct.17 and Oct.28 of 2004 as a specific case, makes a content analysis of the related reports in Soccer and Sports Weekly. From the aspects of public relationship and rhetoric, the thesis discusses the application of CFA's crisis communication strategies. By taking some existing theories into consideration, it draws a series of conclusion and raises a lot of proposals. With crisis communication(mainly media communication) and crisis discourse being the focus, this research provides a reference for the integration of practice and theory, and constructs a framework for crisis communication strategies. |
