Design And Implementation Of The Smart Home System Based On Zigbee Wireless Sensor Networks

With the development of the internet of things technology, smart home system isused more and more widely in people’s lives. Relative to the traditional smart homesystem, smart home system based on internet of things technology superiorperformance, reflected in the wiring flexibility, low cost, and scalability.Firstly, the research background, significance and development of smart homesystem are put forward in this paper and the wireless sensor networks are summarized.Then several common wireless communication technologies are compared, as a result,ZigBee is chosen for internal networking technology. We discussed the ZigBeetechnology and the application of wireless sensor networks, study the architecture ofZigBee wireless networks. besides, the physical layer, MAC, network layer andapplication layer are analysed.In this paper, ZigBee was chosen for establishing wireless communicatingnetworks in smart home, and star network was decided. Besides, embedded smarthome gateway was build on S3C2440and Win CE operating system, since, moreover,the software and the hardware were designed. Finally, the smart home system wereestablished by embedded smart home gateway, a smart phone and the sensor node. Itachieve the following functions:1.Realize the internal networks of smart home system2.Embedded smart home system support spot operation by user on PC.3.User couldremotely controlled the embedded smart home by a smart phone.
