Research on the impact of famil’ys cultural capital involves the study ofacademic achievement, school readiness and the equalization of educationalopportunity. In the light of the detailing tendency of education opportunity, this studyhas directly paid attention to the direct consequence. It is a study of the impact offamil’ys cultural capital on students in making voluntary choice college entranceexam. Based on the Social System Theory of Luhmann, a German socialist and theCultural Reproduction Theory of Bourdieu, a French socialist, an empiricalinvestigation has been made concerning the different situations of family culturalcapital of high-school students, whose voluntary choices are different, so as to explorethe impact of famil,ycultural capital on students making choices and its operatingmechanism. The study has been focused on a high school of D county and a surveyhas been conducted. It is found that signiifcant difference exists in the famil,yculturalcapital among students of different choices,that is to say, there are a positivecorrelation between family cultural capital and voluntary choices. Therefore,according to the conclusion of these investigations, this study has functioned as amore advantageous platform and come up with speciifc operable suggestions forparents to enhance famil’ys cultural capital to promote successful voluntary choices.This research is divided into four parts, respectively for the introduction,research on the basic theory, research method design,data statistics analysis results,conclusions and Suggestions.First parts for introduction, mainly introduces the background of this study, thisstudy focused on how to research issues; Comb the literature related to this study andliterature review; Deifne the core concepts related to this study.The ifrst chapter for the design of research methods. This part aims to introducethe research method is designed,including the research ideas of this study, researchmethods, research tools, research object and data processing and other relatedinformation.The second chapter data statistics analysis results. This chapter is to survey thecollected data and statistical analysis. Mainly from the following several aspects ofspread out: A different voluntary choice college entrance examination, students familycultural capital; Second,different voluntary choice college entrance examination andfamily cultural capital choice between various factors; Three,students volunteer selection of internal factors and the relationship between the factors and thefamily cultural capital.The third chapter is conclusions and suggestions.In the ifnal conclusion part, summarizes the whole research process and researchmethod of the research on the relfection, this research expounds the approach to studyand further studies.
