Situation College Students Explore New Media Literacy And Self-training Path

With the rapid development and popularity of the new media, new mediaenvironment brings to the citizens, especially the college students the opportunity tohold the right of voice, but at the same time, also brings a lot of challenges. Collegestudents have a high level of education and a strong personal ability, and show thatcollege students are the most representative citizen groups. But in the face of thecoexistence of "danger" and "opportunity" in the new media environment, asadvanced group, college students has obvious imbalance performance, and it’smeans that college students did not reach the proper level to adapt to the newmedia environment, so need to improve and promote their new media literacy assoon as possible, learn to play subjective initiative, self to cultivate a scientific andrational attitude to participate in, select, understand and take advantage of newmedia.The paper based on the change which caused by the new mediaenvironment; first, define the new concept and content of the new media literacy asthe basis of follow-up study. The focus of this paper has two levels: the first is aninvestigation of college students’ present new media literacy situation, and thenthrough the results of the survey targeted, try putting forward to explore the selfeducation path of college students’ new media literacy.College students influenced by new media are the main research subject ofthe article. This paper selected Shanghai university students as research object, byadopting the combination of empirical research and textual research method.Compared with traditional media, and then summed up the new media literacy ofcollege students, and the weakness of the college students and the insufficiency.Finally on the basis of the results of the survey, and sums up targeted measures,exploring the path of self cultivation breakthrough.About self cultivation path to explore, in this paper, based on the results ofthe survey, shows that the shortage of the college students’ self ability, starting fromthe aspects of self-awareness and self-control, by cultivating scientific and reasonable new media contact behavior, to exercise and strengthen the critical thinking; and usenew media to achieve equal and effective communication, and explore collegestudents self education of new media literacy.
