| The development of relieving exterior syndrome of Chinese Medicine has experienced a long historical process. Wu Jutong advocated "pungent-cool" theory, and created Yinqiao-San on the basis of Ye Tianshi’s clinical experience.The future generations put Yinqiao-San as the representative recipe of pungent-cool relieving agents to treat wind-heat exterior syndrome. However, for a long time, there have been so many arguments in the topic that whether pungent-cool relieving agents relieve exterior syndrome.This thesis mainly analyzes two classic representative recipes (Yinqiao-San and Sangju-Yin) of pungent-cool relieving agents, then further in-depth discussion on the, evolution of the disease mechanism of wind-heat exterior syndrome, the profound connotation of pungent-cool diaphoresis method and the clinical administrating of pungent-cool relieving agents.The whole thesis can be divided into four parts. The main contents are summarized as follows.The first part mainly tries to tell us that the relevant content of exterior syndrome for the study in Treatise on Febrile Diseases and the explaining for the exterior-interior concurrent disease and the priorities treatment principles in dealing with exterior-interior relationship will be helpful to provide theoretical basis for the argument that whether pungent-cool relieving agents relieve exterior syndrome or clear the interior heat.The second part emphasizes the theory contradictions of exterior syndrome, wind-heat exterior syndrome and pungent-cool relieving agents.Exterior syndrome is a clinical syndrome which is caused by cold pathogen invading the fleshy exterior and bond the wei-qi, and its characteristic manifestation is aversion to cold. Since heat pathogen can’t restrain wei-qi, wind-heat exterior syndrome should not be related with wind-cold exterior syndrome in parallel. Traditionally it is considerdered that wind-heat exterior syndrome which caused by wind-heat pathogen, is not a pure exterior syndrome but a lung-heat and exterior-cold syndrome. The therapeutic method of "releasing exterior syndrome with pungent-cool drugs" should be understood as clearing lung-heat primarily and dispersing cold to release exterior concurrently.Part three deals with modern clinical application of Yinqiao-San and Sangju-Yin to offer the evidence in quantity. The object of study is169modern literatures (Yinqiao-San137, Sangju-Yin32) of688ones, which retrievaled from CNKI, Wan-fang database, VIP database and library of BUCM (Beijing University of Chinese Medicine) between3,1959to3,2014, except literatures of experiment research, with no cases, theoretical research and repetition. The research method is Access2007database, with which analyzes diseases,pathogenesis, tongue picture and pulse condition, primary symptom and the law of making formulas and descriptions.Results of the analysis reveals that the kinds of diseases of modern TCM physician treating with the two prescriptions are various,they are often used to treat infections,infectious diseases and diseases of ear-nose-throa and dermatology, most of which are showed as heat syndrome, and could be treated with clear-lung-heat herbs.The treatment of the diseases with exterior-cold syndrome concurrently could be with compatibility of pungent-warm drugs, such as schizonepetae, preserved soybean,radix saposhnikoviae and etc.In the end, this thesis carefully carries out the view that pungent-cool relieving agents should be reclassified in Chinese Formulae. Yinqiao-San,Maxingshigan Decoction,Chaigejieji Decoction and Shengmagegen Decoction should be classified as formulae that release the exterior syndrome and clear the interior which is in chapter "formulae that release evils from both the exterior and interior";Sangju-Yin should be classified as formulae that clear the heat from zang-fu organs which is in chapter "formulae that clear the heat"... |
