ObjectiveTo discuss the academic thought of Zhu Renkang in treating diseases of the skin by the way of curing the "feng" and to inherit the clinical experience through using Weka(Waikato Environment for Knowledge Analysis).MethodsThe objective of research were dermatologic cases of Zhu Renkang. All the data were collected according to required case format. And we processed the data by the methods of data cleaning, data integration and transformation, and data reduction.SPSS13.0was applied to study frequency, concentrated tendency and disperse tendency of discrete data such as sex, age, visiting times, diagnosis and so on.Weka3.6was applied to classify, cluster and correlate core attributes such as symptom, diagnosis, syndrome, prescription and so on. ResultsThe study finally collected500dermatologic cases of Zhu Renkang, in which there were140first visit and360returned visit. And there were239male patients and261female patients.We found that there were57skin lesions,9subjective symptoms. The main syndromes were the hot heat(60.2%), the damp(42.2%), the "feng"(40.2%). The main treatment were clearing heat(59%), dispelling the wind(31.8%), arefaction(31.4%). The main herbs were Radix Paeoniae Rubra(50.4%), Licorice(45%), Cortex Moutan(31%).The dermatologic cases of Zhu Renkang was classified by "feng" to analyse using SMO. The rate of classified accuracy was97.8%, Kappa=0.9546. We founded distinct law of compatibility of herbs, treating methods, syndromes, skin lesions and so on.Analysis according to association rules pointed out that there were11groups of herbs possessing close dependency.According to clustering analysis, we got13categories of prescription which had13different effects. ConclusionData mining method was meaningful and beneficial in the study on academic thought of famous veteran doctors. It can be confirmed that experiential inheritance and academic thought of Zhu Renkang has gained excellent results. We also found some new thoughts of the field which must be useful in the future.However, it needs a further development in the methods of the study on the clinical experience of curing the "feng". Combination of multiple modern information technologies will be the best choice for the future study. |
