| Objective: To investigate the mechanisms and clinical effects of "Spring· Autumn Equinox Rheumatology paste" on the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.Materials And Methods: We selected242patients coming to our hospital for treatment on RA from September2011to February2013. They accorded with the diagnostic criteria for rheumatoid arthritis which was made by Rheumatology ACR/EULAR in years of2009. We used retrospective method to analyse the242cases of patients with rheumatoid arthritis on clinical efficacy analysis. The145patients who were treated with "Spring·Autumn Equinox Rheumatology paste" were in Study group and the97patients who were not treated with "Spring·Autumn Equinox Rheumatology paste" were in control group. Study group were given Lef lunomide20mg oral1y once a day with the "Spring·Autumn Equinox Rheumatology paste" therapy, and the control group were given leflunomide20mg once a day orally. The observation included the amount of joint tenderness and swollen joint, duration of morning stiffness (minutes), hands mean grip strength (mm/Hg), VAS pain score and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and Oreactive protein (CRP) changes before treatment and after treatment.Results:1.Comparison of clinical efficacy:, the total effective rate of research group was93.10%, and in the control group, the total effective rate was84.53%. After the X2test, there was significant difference (P<0.05) between the study group and the control group, showed that the clinical study group significantly better than the control group.2.Two groups TCM syndromes comparison: the total effective rate of research group, was95.17%and in the control group, the total effective rate was82.47%, After the X2test, there was significant difference (P<0.05) between the study group and the control group, showed that the clinical efficacy of the study group was significantly better than that of the control group.Conclusion:Acupoint sticking therapy for rheumatoid arthritis significantly reduce symptoms and the frequency of the incidence of patients, shorten the duration of each incidence, and reduce the amount of other drugs, thereby it can reduce the side effects of other drugs. In conclusion, it can be used in larger scale. |
