| Objictions This paper is to investigate college students’ depression and anxiety statusand related factors in the medical school of one vocational college in AnHui province,to provide a basis for developing college students’ psychological care and consultingwork accordingly.Methods Taking the cluster sampling method, extracting537medical college studentsof one vocational college in AnHui province, taking Zung’s Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS) and Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA)to screen for the status of depression andanxiety and Processing the data with non conditional Logistic regression.Results The detection rate of depression is30.4%; the detection rate of anxiety is40.2%.According to the analysis of the average score of anxiety and depression rate, there is astatistical significance with the difference of depression status among the students fromvarious majors, their performance ranking and their relationship (P<0.05); depressionscores in various majors F=5.56(P=0.01). There is a statistical significance withdifferent detection rate of anxiety in various majors2=14.0(P<0.01). The averagedepression score of students majoring pharmacy is47.359.81higher than otherstudents. The average depression score of students majoring in medical imaging is44.829.45; students majoring in medical test47.359.81; the lowest score is studentsmajoring in pharmaceutical marketing41.278.91. There is a statistical significancewith the statistic scores among the first30%students, the middle40%students and thelast30%students in class ranking. F=5.50(P<0.01)The average score of the first30%students is42.75±6.69; the middle40%students is45.42±9.57; and the last30%students is46.42±9.84. There is a statistical significance with different detection rate ofanxiety among the first30%students, the middle40%students and the last30% students in class ranking.2=18.2(P<0.01)There is a statistical significance withdepression scores with common relationship and good relationship among students.t=6.48(P<0.05)The score of students in common relationship is46.52±8.83; the scoreof students in good relationship is44.19±9.60. There is a statistical significance withanxiety scores among students from different economic conditions family. Z=-2.67(P<0.01) There is a statistical significance with different detection rate of anxietyamong students from different economic conditions family. The anxiety score ofstudents from rich families is M=4.0, the anxiety score of students from averagefamilies is M=7.5. There is a positive correlation between anxiety and depression(rs=0.36,P<0.05).The influence factors of anxiety and depression, the result ofmultiple factors analysis, the influencing factors of depression with anxiety, professional,learning, movement or not. Under the condition of invariable in other factors control,existential anxiety symptoms of students there is no anxiety symptoms was susceptibleto the5.64times of depression, anxiety, risk factors for depression. In other factorsunder the condition of invariable control, laboratory science relative to the medicalprofessional marketing majors are more likely to develop depressive symptoms, is2.21times as much, secondary is image,which is2.00times than medical professionalmarketing majors. Studied in other factors under the condition of invariable control, nomore on the students more easily in depressive symptoms, the rank of learning increaseon level, and the risk of suffering depression may increase1.72times.Under thecondition of invariable in other factors control, no movement of the students are morelikely to suffer depression, is2.37times of sports students. The influencing factors ofanxiety depression, family situation, sport or not. Exist in other factors under thecondition of invariable control, students depressive symptoms are more likely to sufferanxiety, depression symptoms of students there is no depression with anxiety symptomof5.77times the risk factors of anxiety depression. Under the condition of invariablecontrol in other factors, students of average family situation are more likely to sufferanxiety symptoms, is a good student of2.25times with anxiety symptoms. Under the condition of invariable in other factors control, movement of the students are less likelyto suffer from depression, it is not sports students0.62times.Conclusion The anxiety and depression status of the vocational college students is notoptimistic, and it is the urgent affair to develop mental health intervention in timeaccording to the related factors. |
