Objectives:To investigate the influence of nursing intervention on psychological state of patients with coronary heart disease before and after they receive percutaneous coronary intervention to improve the quality of care, accumulate nursing experience, and provide a theoretical basis for wide clinical application.Methods:87patients receiving percutaneous coronary intervention were divided into experimental group (n=42) and control group (n=45). Before the percutaneous coronary intervention, psychological state of all patients were investigated with self-rating anxiety scale(SAS), self-rating depression scale(SDS) and Symptom Checklist(SCL-90). Then, routine treatment was implemented in both groups, and nursing intervention was implemented for patients in experimental group. Nursing outcomes were measured when patients were discharged form hospital using the above SAS,SDS and SCL-90.The data was analyzed with SPSS17.0.Results:(1)Before intervention, scores of SAS, SDS and SCL-90of patients in both groups were above the threshold, but there were no significant differences between the two groups.(2)After intervention, scores of SAS, SDS and SCL-90of patients in the experimental group were lower than that before intervention. There were significant differences in experimental group before and after intervention except the hostility and mental illness.(3)Scores of SAS and SDS of patients in control group were higher after intervention, but there were no significant differences of SAS, SDS and SCL-90scores before and after intervention.(4)After intervention, scores of SAS,SDS and SCL-90of patients in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in control group. There were significant differences between two groups except the hostility.Conclusion:(1) Patients with coronary heart disease who will receive percutaneous coronary intervention had psychological problems to some extent.(2)Nursing intervention can help patients to improve the psychological state effectively.
