| Primary dysmenorrhea (PD) is one of the most common gynecological diseases which occurs in young women with a negative impact on their quality of life. The hallmark of primary dysmenorrhea is painful menses in the absence of any associated macroscopic pathologic process. Painful menses occurs within the first6months of menarche. Its prevalence varies between45%and95%.Objective:to explore the effects and mechanism of Sanjie Rupi paste on primary dysmenorrhea therapy.Methods:48rats were randomly divided into6groups, each group had8rats.Firstly, there was a blank control group, meanwhile, oxytocin-induced dysmenorrhea rats were randomly divided into molding group, vehicles group, Sanjie Rupi paste low-dose group, medium-dose group, high-dose group. The changes of pain reaction, uterus weight and the changes of PGE2and PGF2a in uterus tissue were observed.Results:oxytocin-induced dysmenorrhea rats were successfully established. Compared with the molding group, Sanjie Rupi paste low-dose group, medium-dose group, high-dose group inhibited the pain reaction significantly in rats induced by oxytocin, but not effected the uterus weight in rats induced by oxytocin, and increased the PGE2levels while decreased the PGE2a levels in uterus tissue significantly, of course, reduced the PGF2a/PGE2ratio significantly.Conclusion:1. Sanjie Rupi paste can relive pain effectively in oxytocin-induced dysmenorrhea rats.2. Sanjie Rupi paste can not affect the uterus weight in oxytocin-induced dysmenorrhea rats.3. Sanjie Rupi paste can regulate the secretion of PGE2and PGF2a to treat dysmenorrhea in oxytocin-induced dysmenorrhea rats. |
