Clinical Study Of San Bi Decoction In The Treatment Of Osteoarthritis Of The Knee(Cold-damp Stagnation Type)

Purpose: To observe the therapeutic effect of San Bi Decoction in thetreatment of knee osteoarthritis (Deficiency of liver and kidney, Cold-dampnesssyndrome), and to investigate the mechanism of San Bi Decoction in the treatmentof disease.Methods：1. This study included66cases of patients with KOA, the final completionof the60patients in the control group and30patients in each treatment group2.According to the order of treatment of60patients with knee osteoarthritisdiagnosis standard, We take the method of singular into treatment group, evenfor the control group, the patients were divided into2groups. Treatment group30cases take orally San Bi Decoction, one dose daily, morning and evening servicepoints;30cases in control group were given spur tablets, three tablets eachtime, three times a day, after meals. This study was treated for3months afterthe end of treatment to determine the therapeutic effect.Results:30cases of patients,1cases of clinical control,18cases markedlyeffective, effective9cases, invalid2cases; the control group30cases,0casesof clinical control,12cases markedly effective, effective10cases, invalid8cases, the control rate:63.33%in the treatment group, the control group was40%; the total effective: the treatment group was93.33%, control group73.33%.Control of the treatment group were higher than those in the control group andthe total efficiency, the total effect of the two groups patients were analyzedby Ridit,R=0.500, u=2.042, P=0.041,(P<0.05), there was significant difference,indicating that the total curative effect of the treatment group is higher thanthat of control group. The efficacy of the treatment group is better than thecontrol group in the treatment of the symptoms of pain, swelling, stair climbing,squatting, instability, however, the two groups did not differ significantly in the treatment of the symptoms of support, limp, twist.Conclusion: The San Bi Decoction in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(Deficiency of liver and kidney, Cold-dampness syndrome) is a safe and effectiveprescription. It can relieve the pain, swelling, climbing stairs, squat,instability and other symptoms.
