Study On Women’s Breast And Cervical Cancer Screening And Countermeasures In Rural Zhangqiu County

Background:In recent years, the morbidity and mortality of breast and cervical cancer rose to top two of the female malignant rumor around the world.Early detection, early diagnosis, early treatment can effectively prevent and control these two cancers’development, and also can reduce its mortality.To fully implement the task of strengthening the work of women cervical and breast cancer screening in rural areas from national and provincial levels,the city of Zhangqiu has officially launched this work in early2009.The screening plan aimes at improving the detection and treatment rates in rural areas,at the same time,it can also reduce mortality through improving the women’s health status. Two cancer’s screening program for women in rural areas is one of the major public health projects of our CPC and Central Committee.It is the well performance of people-oriented concept in our country.The screening programme can not only protect the health of women through early actions.but also providing related knowledge to improve rural women’s self-care awareness.Objectives:Through screening the breast and cervical cancer for the rural women whose age is between35-59in Zhangqiu city and spreading the related knowledge,we can make a good understand of these two cancers’ prevalence and its risk factors. In the next step,we can develop the targeted prevention measures which will be helpful in perfecting the screening programs.And at the same time it can provide regarding theories of breast and cervical cancer screening model that is suitable for China.Materials and methods:Target populations are rural women between35to59years old in Zhangqiu city.We carried out this work according with the principles of voluntary.All the objective are questioned by the unified questionnaires and detected by the uniform diagnostic criteria.We took the measures of combing Cervical cytology with Colposcopy in gynecological examination.In breast examination,hand clinic, ultrasound examination and mammography-X are combined well.The data are examined before it is established in a database through SPSS13.0.And then we make a systematic statistical analysis.Results:Cervical cancer should check82,497people,83,750people are real investigated, so the completion rate is101.5%. There are63,261healthy people of all the subjects, we have found218cases of cervical precancerous lesions, accounting for0.26%of participants screening.There are18cases of CINI,47cases of CINII,53cases of CINIII among these218patients; seven patients are of invasive cervical cancer, accounting for0.008%of participants screening.There is1patient who has invasive carcinoma, and6patients of microinvasive carcinoma. Breast cancer should check82,497people,94,116people real investigation, the completion rate114.1%. There are72,915normal people,10,997cases of breast hyperplasia, accounting for11.7%of participants screening; breast fibroma539cases, accounting for0.6%of participants screening;61cases of breast cancer, accounting for0.06%of the number of participants in the screening.Conclusion and suggestions:The programme of Cervical and breast cancer screening can not only make an early detection of these two cancers’patients from a broad area,but also it can reduce the economic burden of the patients whose disease are found late.It is an very important work to improve the health status of women in rural areas.Through this work,women in rural places can make a good awareness of protecting themselves.The programme are feasible,so it should get a long-term implementation.Suggestions:1、Governments at all levels should attach great importance to the work of two cancer screening and make an increasing investment for it.2、Two cancer screening program and other common major diseases and cancer detection or treatment should be combined together well.3、Strengthening the power of health education and make a public of universal "two cancer" prevention knowledge can improve the awareness of self-care for women in the rural areas.At the same time,we should further strengthen the three levels maternal and child health network construction,mobilize more women to participate in the "two cancer" screening programme.Lastly,the government should help to make an aggressive treatment to the severe cervical erosion patients.
