The Clinical Observation Of Aconitum Decoction Fumigation Combined With Functional Exercises For Ankle Fracture Postoperative Functional Rehabilitation

Objective: Finding a treatment method of ankle fracture by comparing the curativeeffect of two operational methods,one is using Aconitum Decoction fumigation combinedwith functional exercises method,the other is using the Functional exercises alone.Methods: This subjects from September2010to September2012,the AffiliatedHospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine orthopedic ward ofhospital Surgery treatment of unilateral ankle fractures in50patients,the patients wereseparated into two groups randmly,treatment group and control group,each group has25patients.After operation,the treatment group patients were cured by using AconitumDecoction fumigation combined with functional exercises method. The control grouppatients were cured by using the Functional exercises alone.After3months treatment,compared two groups of patients with ipsilateral ankle recovery, analysising the treatmentresults of two groups, comparing the two groups’ treatment effects by using statisticalanalysis and then Concluded.Results: The treatment group were superior to the control group on the aspects oftotal scores, the pain degree of walking, independent activity, foot support situation,ground walking distance and abnormal gait, joint range of motion and tenderness(P<0.05).The treatment group and the control group weren′t have the difference on theaspects of the activities of the hind foot, ankle outer and medial gap, and the displacement(P>0.05).Conclusion：The method of using Aconitum Decoction fumigation combined withfunctional exercises method to cure ankle fractures has good curative effect.
