| Background: Clinical medicine graduate education is to cultivate high-level appliedtalents, while clinical skills training is an important content of clinical postgraduatecultivate,the training quality will largely affect the clinical medical service level. Alongwith the advance of modern medicine, medical education should not only attachimportance to heuristic and creative teaching, more should pay attention to practiceteaching, aims to cultivate medical students are good at thinking, master the ability offinding and solving problems. However, in recent years the number of enrollmentgrowth and the disadvantage of various soft and hard environment, lead to the educateof postgraduates’ clinical ability has many problems. Therefore, that is an importantsubject faced by higher education of medicine in current: how to cultivate medicalgraduate student who has comprehensive knowledge, professional basic skills, canpractised operation skills, ability of undertake special technical work independently andwith innovation consciousness.Objective: The paper aims to investigate the postgraduates’ clinic skills trainingsituation of three medical colleges in Anhui province, and analyze the influencingfactors of clinic skills level and improving measures from the point of graduates andpostgraduate tutors perspective.On the based of results,we try to develop more effectiveclinical skills training program, and effectively improve the clinic skills level ofpostgraduate, and put forward some strategies of decision making for medical educationreforme. Method: Through literature review and creative design, we formed the questionnaire ofclinical skills training of clinical medicine postgraduates. With the help of specialists(discussion and consultation), we revised the questionnaire. We investigated1000postgraduates and500postgraduate tutors of three medical colleges in Anhui province.Finally we get effective questionnaires from graduate and master tutor was respectively874and445.EpiData3.1and SPSS16.0were utilized in the data management.Result: Surveys on874postgraduates indicated that87.5%pay more attention to thecultivation of clinical skills,but only15.6%of the graduate students can proficient knewclinical skills well;74.4%graduate can be tightly combine scientific research projectswith clinical practice;45.5%master show that every department was up to the clinicalability of the training target;45.2%were thought that clinical work harvest to reduce;most of the students reach an agreement that the less chance to operate clinical skills;32.6%graduates clinical work time in six months to one year, the whole work less thanteacher expectations.(2) The majority of teachers instruct graduate number was less in amonth, and generally believed that the need to strengthen the cultivation of studentsability of comprehensive analysis, clinical competence, ability of real clinical problemsolving, logical thinking ability and the ability of communication with patients.(3) Theclinical skills training related to masters’ work experience, attention degree of themselfand their teachers, clinical skills, reduced of operation opportunities, regulatorymechanism and so on.Conclusion and suggestions: Change the teaching idea, pay attention to the clinicalskills training, increase opportunities for clinical practice,and strengthen the clinicalskills examination management is important guarantee to improve the clinical skills ofstudents. In addition, the reform of education concept, develop teaching methods;Strengthen the discipline, improve training mode; a clear regulatory responsibilitysystem, constructing reasonably clinical tutor groups; strengthening the cultivation ofclinical professional communication skills;emphasize the cultivation of clinical scientific research ability; strengthen the clinical skill simulation training, lay emphasison the clinical operation rejected state of mind and so on will be important measures toimprove the clinical skills training initiative of graduate students. |
