In the investigation stage, a cross-sectionstudy by convenience sampling on284individual with coronary heart disease wereinvestigated in the five hospitals. Based on the investigation result, the73young andmiddle-aged patients with coronary heart disease that index score below60%wereincorporated into the nursing intervention study. They were randomly divided into twogroups,36in the control group and37in the intervention group. Control group onlyreceived knowledge education of coronary heart disease, subjects in the interventiongroup were given the comprehensive interventions on the guidance of solution-focusedmode.The time of follow-up was3months after intervention in the two groups. Beforeand after the intervention of two time points, the outcome of self management behavior,self-efficacy, and blood pressure level were evaluated to analyze the effects ofsolution-focused mode.Result:①the score of self-management behaviors in young and middle-aged patientswith coronary heart disease was77.94±12.45and the score index was57.73%. Different self-management activities had different levels, the management of daily lifegot the highest score and its average indicator was65.58%.In contrast, the lowest scorewas from disease management, whose indicator was56.27%.The self-managementbehavior among young and middle-aged patients with coronary heart disease wasaffected by many factors, the patients’ disease course, occupation, cultural level, income, living condition, complication were the main influential factors.②Comparedto baseline, the ability of self-management had significant improvement after theintervention(P<0.05).In addition, compared to that of control group, the bloodpressure level has decreased significantly after intervention(P<0.05).③The scores ofintervention group in self-efficacy has been significantly enhanced after theintervention and rise greater than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:①The current status of self management in young and middle-agedpatients with coronary heart disease was not ideal. Different self-management activitieshad different levels, the score index from high to low are the management of daily life,of emotion and of disease.②The self-management behavior among young andmiddle-aged patients with coronary heart disease was affected by many factors. Thepatients’ disease courses, occupation, cultural level, income, living condition, complication were the main influential factors. Nurses should improve the level ofself-management, delay and control their complication by tailored behaviorintervention.③The comprehensive interventions for the young and middle-agedpatients with coronary heart disease on the guidance of solution-focused mode canimprove self-efficacy and the blood pressure level, help patients established goodself-management behavior.
