Agricultural development is the foundation of social development, thedevelopment condition of agriculture to a large extent determines the development ofsociety, as a big agricultural province, agricultural development in gansu province hasmore important role in economic and social development, but in the process of rapiddevelopment of agriculture in recent years, people are the unreasonable use of naturalresources caused by the deterioration of agricultural ecological environment problemis increasingly serious, serious restricts the sustainable development of agriculture ingansu province. So in order to improve the ecological environment, make along theway to sustainable development of agriculture in gansu province, must through theappropriate evaluation method, find out the problems existing in the currentagricultural development, put forward rational Suggestions for the existing problemsand countermeasures. Currently USES more methods can have value theory analysisand method of ecological footprint and energy ecological footprint method, energyanalysis from the perspective of energy flow analysis and evaluation problems of theresearch object, proceed from supply and demand of the resources, the ecologicalfootprint method to find out problems, energy ecological footprint method is in frontof the comprehensive comparison of two methods on the basis of the new method, theapplication of relatively small. However, no matter adopt what kind of evaluationmethod of sustainable development study of the sustainable development of regionalagriculture ecological system are not perfect, therefore, in this paper, through theabove three methods comprehensive of agricultural ecosystem from2001to2010ingansu province sustainable development condition has carried on the comprehensiveevaluation. Specific research results are as follows:1, By using the value theory and energy analysis method, calculating the energyflow of gansu agricultural ecosystem, choosing relevant indicators, we get theevaluation of the istitustainable development of agricultural ecological system inGansu province. It is concluded that the rates of Gansu province agricultural energyutilization, energy productivity, net emergy output and industrial auxiliary energy contribution are low;At the same time the rates of environmental load andenvironmental load index are low. It showed that Gansu agricultural development wasthe style of resource consumption, and the development of agriculture is largelydependent on natural resources,which is in the expense of the resource consumptionand the sustainable development of ecological environment.In Gansu province from2001to2010,, The energy output keep at a lower levelalthough the emergy input and output, the energy use efficiency are increased whichthe the energy values ranges from0.42in2002to0.65in2010; Environment energyvalue contribution and environmental load index increased, but the environmentenergy value contribution rate is small, between33%and36%, the environment loadratio change is bigger, increased from66%in2001to93%in2010; Industrialauxiliary contributing value also increased year by year, but it has been below20%,the contribution rate is relatively low; Net emergy output by a minimum of0.63in2002to1.00in2010.2, By using the ecological footprint model, t the calculation of Gansu province’secological footprint, ecological carrying capacity and ecological deficit (surplus), weget that the corresponding evaluation indexes for evaluation of sustainabledevelopment, the conclusion is as follows: Gansu province ecological footprint percapita is increasing year by year, and the per capita ecological carrying capacity isdecreasing year by year, which makes the ecological deficit increasing, ecologicalenvironment more and more bad;The utilization degree of natural resources in Gansuprovince is far more than the degree of supply under the condition of the existingnatural resources of human activities on the ecological pressure which is beyond thescope of local ecological carrying capacity, ecological serious imbalance betweensupply and demand, the development is through the consumption of its own resourcesto make up for the deficiency of ecological carrying capacity, is in a state ofunsustainable development.Gansu province’s per capita ecological deficit increased from0.844hm2in2001to1.347hm2in2009, although a slight decline1.315hm2in2010, is still in a high level,which is more and more serious ecological deficit. 3, Based on the emergy theory and calculation method of ecological footprintmodel building energy ecological footprint model, the calculated conclusion isfollowed: the traditional ecological footprint model calculation results are basicallythe same, the supply of natural resources in Gansu province has far cannot satisfy theneeds of people’s life, the excessive use of natural resources caused more and morepressure to the environment, the agricultural development in Gansu province has beenin the direction of the unsustainable development.Gansu province energy ecologicalfootprint per capita increased from11.426hm2in2001to17.077hm2in2009,declined slightly in2010, is16.604hm2, the per capita ecological deficit, increase9.848hm2in2001to15.555hm2in2009to15.092hm2in2010.4, Based on energy analysis, the ecological footprint analysis and model ofecological footprint based on energy analysis, this paper compares and analyzes threekinds of evaluation methods although the focus is different, and each have advantagesand disadvantages, but concluded that the evaluation result is the same from differentangles, namely agricultural ecological system development in Gansu province is in astate of unsustainable.
