At present, the most advanced defibrator of China has realized the computer remote control and the full automation. Although the domestic made defibrators have the certain gap with overseas advanced defibrator, the gap is being reduced with the consistent development of China large capacity defibrator technology. At the same time, the domestic made large capacity defibrator will enter into the key period of technology research. Through the comparison between China existing advanced large capacity defibrator and overseas product, it is not difficult to find out that the technological development of overall defibrator is restricted in the aspect of main components, such as sealing device, spindle bearing system etc. The spindle system of traditional defibrator has been unable to meet the demand of rapid development of defibrator. Therefore, it has become a pressing matter of China medium density fibreboard industry to develop the hydrostatic bearing and the sealing devices that are suitable to the domestic made large capacity defibrator.According to the technological procedures of hot-grinding method and the large capacity defibrator’s requirement to the spindle bearing system and the sealing device, the advantages and disadvantages of the main shaft parts of traditional defibrator (including sealing device, micromatic setting, static thrust bearing, rolling bearing etc) are analysed so as to judge that it has very high feasibility for the spindle radial bearing to use the liquid hydrostatic bearing and optimise the original mechanical sealing structure. Based on the spindle parameter of overseas large capacity defibrator under the working state, the mechanical analysis is carried out on the spindle of large capacity defibrators. According to the liquid hydrostatic principle, a set of matching components, such as liquid radial hydrostatic bearing, the throttle valve etc, are designed for the large capacity defibrator.. According to the principle of fluid mechanics and combining spiral sealing and floating ring sealing, the composite improvement is carried out on the original mechanical sealing structures.According to the general productivity standard of62inches large capacity defibrator in the international, a set of load simulation and operation monitoring experiment station is designed for the technological improvement of spindle radial bearing system and sealing device of China large capacity defibrators. The ANSYS software is used to carry out the static mechanical analysis on the radial loading system of experimental platform so as to obtain displacement nephogram and stress nephogram of bearing beam of loading system. Through the comparison and analysis of its data, the best structure of bearing structure is designed. The Creo Parametric2.0software newly put forward by PTC Company is used to carry out the motion simulation on the bearing installation and disassembly of experimental platform. Through the simulation, the improvement is carried out on the problems of structure design of experimental platform.It is conductive to further improve the production capacity and quality and gradually improve the comprehensive performance of domestic made defibrator on the basis that China domestic made large capacity defibrators absorb the core technology of overseas advanced defibrators. This research has the certain instruction significance to the development of China large capacity defibrator and can play important role for the improvement of domestic made large capacity defibrators.
