As a special application of the traditional wireless sensor networks (WSNs), the wireless multimedia sensor networks (WMSNs) has deeply changed the communication between human and nature, and connecting physical world, digital virtual world and human society as a bridge, and has great application value in national defence, exploring outer space, medical, environment, family and so on. As one of the hot research areas in wireless multimedia sensor networks, the wireless multimedia sensor node is being paid wide attention by academe, industry, and military. This dissertation concentrates its attention on the key technology of wireless multimedia sensor networks node. The main contents and contributions of this dissertation are as follows:In this paper Key Techniques of wireless sensor node is studied, and the node video transmission system structure diagram is designed and implementation of multimedia sensor node has been designed and realized. This paper has used Real View MDK and VC++, finally realizing the system function. Node hardware selection follows the five principles of design (cost, size, power consumption, scalability and stability), a microprocessor based on STM32is designed, using FIFO memory, CMOS image sensor OV7670, and the multimedia sensor node of the high-speed wireless communication chip nRF24L01.The system software is divided into four parts:the microprocessor control module, wireless communication module, data transmission module, TFT-LCD display module and a PC, which is realized by using Real View MDK integrated μVision3IDE and Real View compiler and VC++. Finally, the system debugging and testing have been completed in the construction of development and test environment. The test results show that the images sink node received are clear and stable in the interior, which can meet the needs of the application.
