Digital signal processing is processing to deal with digital sequence using numerical methods. It is converted into various forms to meet the needs of the people. Filtering technology is must when both the acquisition and transmission of signals, signal processing and exchange. It is critical to the safe, reliable and flexible signal transmission. Digital filter was used in a wide range of practical application of the speech signal processing, the estimation of the signal spectrum, signal denoising, image processing, digital conversion of wireless communication because of its high accuracy, flexibility, high reliability, etc. It can be said that the quality of products was directly determined by the pros and cons of the digital filter. So it is very important that the study of digital filter to improve the clarity of the image.Based on analysis of the status quo and development trend of the digital filter technology in world and design methods of FIR digital filter, this thesis is reducing complex design process of the traditional digital filter, intensive computation, difficultly adjust of the filter characteristics. It gives the study as follows:1. It designs a low-pass, band-pass and multi-band digital filter by the window function method and MATLAB software.2. It designs a low-pass digital filter by frequency sampling method and MATLAB software.3. It designs an equiripple low-pass digital filter by optimization method and MATLAB software.4. By examples of the plus noise sound and images, it shows that a good design of signal filter can improve in the clarity of sound and image. Through the effect of remove on noise in the sound and image, it can improve the design of filter in turn.Therefore, because of good reliability, high efficiency and reducing greatly on workload, the design method of signal filter in the paper is an optimization and economization design for...
