LED(Light Emitting Diode)screen which is made up of LED module is a sort of planedisplay screen. There are many advantages, such as high lightness, Low energy consumption,low fault rate, agile structure, long life, ample display content, etc. Nowadays, the LED screenhas met the need of the market, but there are still some problems which should be solved,such as the effect of display, make larger use of the screen, LED products are now applied toall aspect of our life. The one of the most import parameter for LED display is how to controlthe brightness of the semiconductor light-emitting diodes. Different diodes have differentdefault brightness when they are finished. And the visual brightness effect worse and shortenwith the actual using lift. All of this will influence the normal effect of LED display. So it isimportant for us to correction the brightness.The processing of the brightness correction is complex. The major work is centered onhow to achieve the objective brightness correction, such a process. Firstly, the principle ofstarting from the LED display, LED structure and basic principle was introduced here, thenintroduced the physiological characteristics of the human eye, also introduced someinformation of the imaging CCD (Charge-coupled Device), the final analysis of the wholeprocess of brightness correction. After the LED display brightness corrected, can even displayimages and text to make the picture more clearly displayed. This paper researched,demonstrated the method of LED display correction. The result has attained the expectantrequest. It is valuable for brightness correction. The effect of LED display was improved. Thismethod collects brightness data by using the technology of CCD imaging, and then thebrightness data will be analysis and correction, at last the data file will be transmitted to LEDcontrol panel. Through the corrected uniform brightness LED display that can show uniformbrightness of the display.After studying the basic theories and application of the LED screen brightness correction,have some experiments and testing the sample, and the practical application to the factorycorrection process. It is play a major role in brightness correction of LED screen. Aftercorrection with this processing, the effect is obvious, the picture is more clear, coordinated,more value.
