As the development of sensors, monitoring systems have been widelyimplemented in people’s daily life and have a great impact on industrial automation,environmental protection, safety guard and medical health services. Monitoringsystem can enhance the reliability and real-time of monitoring data. Also, it canefficiently avoid the errors of artificial data and simplify statistical quantities as wellas elevate their rates of accuracy. However, in real software development, a newmonitoring system usually starts from the demand analysis to its designing and coding,then testing and operating. Therefore, it leads to the overlapping development ofsimilar software and wastes a great number of labors and resources accompanyingwith no guarantee of software quality.In order to enhance the utilization ratio of monitoring system code and shortenthe development period, this thesis selects the general core modules and makes themto be the browser plug-ins based on the comprehensive analysis of monitoring system.The monitoring system based on Web can be completed by adding several othermodules on the base of these general modules. These modules include Load ControlModule (LCM), Data Maintenance Module (DMM), Curve Displaying Module(CDM), List Displaying Module (LDM), Query Analysis Module (QAM), NavigationModule (NM) and Print Module (PM). LCM is mainly used to load and control othermodules as well as help other modules to exchange information. CDM is used todisplay monitoring data to users in the way of graphic visualization includingsearching curves, moving curves, amplifying curves and marking. LDM deals withthe displaying of monitoring data in the form of list and filter them according torelative demands. QAM is used to query the eligible data. NM is used to searchcertain sensor or sensor congregation in the form of navigation tree or navigation map with a purpose to cheek the sensor or the data of sensor congregation. PM is used toprint monitoring data graph and relative monitoring information.Generally speaking, monitoring systems all have the above core modules. Basedon the above modules, a new monitoring system will be designed conveniently underthe conditions of configuring or adding other modules. The designed system has beenproved that every module is useful and efficient. Moreover, this way increasesdevelopment efficiency and reduces labors and resources.
