Generalization Of The Political Vulnerable Mentality And Research On The Mass Media Guiding Strategy On The Bottom Society

In today’s Chinese Society, political vulnerable mentality presents the state ofgeneralization and it is becoming an important psychological motivation for the groupevents occurring frequently. After the happening of “Dongming incident”, silence ofthe government and the media aggravates that local people’s political vulnerablementality. The author did the large sample field survey and interviewed in depth thenthrough SPSS statistical analysis software, the author discovers that grassroots’political vulnerable mentality has complex connotation.Irrational reports of Mass media and public selective use of media haveimportant implications on the formation of the political vulnerable mentality. In publicevents, aphasia of local media and the lack of interest expression channels is the basicreason for the produce and generalization of political vulnerable mentality. Therefore,the Mass media should build information security network, provide the interestexpression channels and pay attention to the construction of public opinion and guidepublic opinion, gradually resolve the underlying social public political vulnerablementality, bear the corresponding responsibility for social harmony.
