With the rapid development of modern communications technology, the antenna towards the direction of multi-function, high performance and low cost, the ship’s navigation radar, weather radar will be using array antenna, but because the electromagnetic field has diffraction characteristics and electromagnetic coupling exists between any two antennas, so in the layout of the array antenna, we must optimize the layout of the antennas in order to ensure the work between the antennas are not disturbed, this is one of the core content in the design of ship navigation and meteorological systems. In the design phase of the antennas, we must grasp the value of the coupling and interference between the different array antennas in order to optimize the layout of the antennas.In order to fit the future needs of the ship phased array antenna arrangement, paper set a coupled numerical model about the interference between the planar array antenna, which contain the development of calculation procedures to obtain the interference value. Solution of antenna coupling step is first calculated emission array antenna current, then we can obtain interference array antenna current according to emission array antenna current and mutual admittance matrix,,and then coupling coefficient can be calculated through two array antenna current. Finally, we compare the programming calculations and experimental data in order to verify the correctness of the model. the core of the establishment of the model is to obtain the array antenna mutual admittance matrix, the specific processes are as follows:we can take the entire array antenna as a multi-port network, the first set models for the radiation field and diffraction field for the transmitting antenna unit to obtain the unit of the transmitting antenna and receiving antenna elements mutual admittance value, thereby establishing models to get the admittance matrix of the transmitting array and receiving array.In this paper, one characteristic is to put forward a mutual coupling calculation model based on multi-port principle, it does not depend on the array element type of phase controlled planar array, the computational model can calculate coupled between the antenna and interference values. This model can be applied directly to the ship navigation and meteorological systems, electromagnetic compatibility design and analysis to guides the optimization of the array antenna layout,ensure electromagnetic compatibility between the ship antennas, navigation and meteorological systems. We also have theory and data support in the field of electromagnetic compatibility design and analvsis.
