With the development of computer technology, and the rapid spread of personal computers and consumer electronic products. The requirements of data transmission speed, real-time and stability for the digital equipment improved significantly. IEEE-1394as a kind of data transmission standard has the following characteristics, a high transmission speed, bandwidth, high capacity, good scalability, plug and play, Bus dynamic configuration and so on. IEEE-1394to become the first choice for high-speed device interface. IEEE-1394as an open technology for data transmission standard, widely applied in video and audio fields and also in the interconnection of computer peripherals and networking.IEEE-1394has already developing for more than20years, and has been widely used in personal computers, consumer electronics, automotive electronics, etc. But its development in home also limited to application design, the development of core chip is still in the early stage.This paper complete based on the combination of1394b SoC design verification process and thorough research of the IEEE-1394standers. It also introduces IEEE-1394agreement system architecture and hardware and software co-design and verification of SoC design. The paper focus on the researching of the soft and hard collaborative verification of based on1394b interface SoC.This paper describes from writing validation specification, built verification platform to develop validation cases, using the soft and hard collaborative verification on this chips for a full detailed verification. The result shows that the chip comply with the design requirements. This paper made some basic practice exploration work for1394related chip localization, and have certain reference significance and use value.
