The Theory And Practice Of TV News Of People’s Livelihood

TV news of people’s livelihood have appeared for more than20years in China。 Its rise is inseparable from our rapid economic growth, the promotion of urbanization, and the rising of the civic class. From the bud till now, TV news of people’s livelihood has become the main force of city news, with the purpose of focusing on people’s livelihood and daily life. The rising of TV news of people’s livelihood is both the production of democratization, media marketization and transmission popularization, as well as is the innovation and strengthen of Chinese news media’s "news-based" and "audience-based" concept. The ruling of the new generation of the party’s collective leadership, uplifting the ruling idea of "People First", not only enforces the huge changes of the political ecology in our country, but also creates a good political environment for news reform of media in the new period. The proposing of the guidelines, i.e."being close to the life, to the masses and to the reality", offers broad development space for TV news of people’s livelihood. This thesis is composed of three parts.Chapter One mainly discusses what TV news of people’s livelihood is, and summarizes the present appeared defining of its concept and meaning in academic circle. Simultaneously, this chapter analyzes the development status of our country’s TV news of people’s livelihood, from the perspective of achievements and problems; also, it deliberates why TV news of people’s livelihood, a newly sprouted thing--which does not have a uniformed definition yet, can be rapidly popular across the whole country, what the research background is, what reasons promotes its rising, and what on earth the features are.Chapter Two is the key part of this thesis, which focuses on discussing these columns of TV news of people’s livelihood in Shanxi province. First section one mainly classifies several columns of TV news of people’s livelihood in Shanxi province (chiefly,in Taiyuan,the provincial capital) and analyzes the common features and problems. Then, section two analyzes what kind of measures could be used to cope with the pressure and challenges from inside and outside living conditions, as well as analyzes the ways about how to seek changes scientifically and bring the old program back to life, taking Taiyuan channel’s "News Express"-the traditional program of people’s livelihood in Shanxi, as the research subject. Later, on the basis of the large scale audience questionnaire survey made in2010by "News Express", section three emphasizes on analyzing TV news of people’s livelihood, from the audience perceiving. However, section four randomly selects the news,which have been broadcasted during the whole week since1.1.2012, and analyzes the contents of those news, as well as summarizes some specific issues appeared in practical operation, and then offers some improvement opinions. Finally, section five makes theoretical investigation on certain problems which the journalists of TV news of people’s livelihood met in practice, looking forward to guiding the practice.Chapter Three mainly studies the way how TV news of people’s livelihood can realize sustainable development, and where on earth its outlet is. Section one focuses on the analysis of the transition of TV news of people livelihood. The second section discusses the future development tendency of TV news of people livelihood in the new ear of digital media.
