With the life of diversification, the newspaper has revealed new trend. The media intertwined with our daily life more closely with the development of time. If we take daily life as part of the cultural activities, media has become an integral part of culture.Take "the service life, leading consumer fashion" as the content of the Life service, newspapers is rise to the third kind of city newspapers at an extremely high speed. Shanghai as the typical representative of China’s new urban, both the economic life and cultural development always been in the front of the whole country, the development of the Shanghai new typical newspaper have become richer, even the leaders of countries.Shanghai weekly was published in October2000, it takes the Shanghai regional culture as their spiritual orientation, and the newspaper content to readers directly as the goal, choose life information carefully, pay attention to details, exquisite grade, emphasize service and readability, it hold two key information elements of " Shanghai’s week and one week of Shanghai ", Shanghai weekly formed unique characteristics multidimensional cross fusion in news topics of time and space, it’s superior than the general magazine in the selected topic and the efficiency of timeliness and fullness which established its own advantage. With the strong spirit temperament and design feels, it has won the high reading resonance.As one of the city fashion journals, The Shanghai weekly located in Shanghai which has unique style of city culture must be influenced by the city culture. How dose the Shanghai regional cultures influence the publication? Culture is a way of life, the construction of regional culture style depends on the media, how dose the Shanghai weekly which published in the new era present the Shanghai regional culture?
