1ObjectiveThrough the treatment of traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Dongzhimen in62patients with ulcerative colitis (Ulcerative Colitis, UC) patients with epidemiological data, clinical characteristics are investigated to explore the situation, effect of disease characteristics and common TCM syndrome rule and regular use of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of this disease, to further improve the the understanding of the disease and traditional Chinese medicine dialectical treatment level, have certain help, provides the objective basis for the advantage of Chinese medicine in the treatment of ulcerative col i tis.2MethodsIn this study, according to the2010ulcer nature colitis combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment guidelines (Draft), the design of the retrospective study table, the object of study selected patients from the2011.11-2012.12period, in the treatment of62cases of Dongzhimen Hospital Affiliated to Beijing University of Chinese Medicine gastroenterology outpatient clinic of the electronic colonoscopic examination, pathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of patients with ulcerative colitis, were history of a patient in get colonoscopy, pathology report and traditional Chinese medicine treatment, observation includes general information, symptoms were observed before and after treatment, endoscopic index for the first time,3months,6months of TCM syndrome points, colonoscopy data etc.. The establishment of DATABASE, used SPSS17.0software to statistical analysis, count data using chi-square test, rank sum test with measurement data, P<0.05had statistical s ignificance.3Results:1. General information:During2011.11-2012.12in62patients with UC regular treatment, male31cases, female31cases, male and female prevalence ratio was1:1, mean39.42±10.69, UC were concentrated in21-50year-old young adults, accounting for85%of cases. The patient culture dominated by the University,28cases accounted for45%, the number of patients with culture of also accounted for nearly30%of the proportion, beginning in12cases accounted for about20%, primary school and below, graduate and above UC were less. Occupation to professional and technical personnel account for relatively high, in62cases of patients accounted for24cases, about39%, engaged in administrative work class of workers in20cases, second high proportion, agricultural workers and retired, students accounted for less, financial workers accounted for about20%of cases. Causes of morbidity in cases with improper diet and emotional factors in the pathogenesis of more patients, accounted for39%(diet) and37%(emotional), weather accounted for8%, tired incidence accounted for11%,1cases of patients for pregnancy after the onset,2cases of unexplained disease. Life and work pressure is incorporated in the UC case, a pressure37cases, accounted for60%of cases, nervous about nervous accounted for32%, accounted for8%of the cases were not nervous. Personality factors in cases of UC patients with personality, easily irritable, there were30cases, accounting for49%of cases,2patients expressed easily irritable, patients easy-going accounted for6%,28cases of general, accounted for45%of cases. Consider:in62cases of UC in patients with normal thinking more, said there were37cases, accounting for60%of cases, generally accounted for40%of patients. In the study of inclusion in the diet, with pica pat ients accounted for52%, carnivorous6cases accounted for10%more, eat fried in4cases accounted for6%, diet like heat food accounted for18%,11cases, spicy food is much accounted for8%,3cases of cold food preference, no diet predilection was30cases, accounting for48%of cases.2. Clinical types:It is62cases of patients first visit to without the disease, previous initial onset9cases, previous disease and effective application of Chinese and Western medicine treatment after recurrence in26cases, accounting for42%of cases, in general, can not control the symptoms of Western medicine treatment effect with the previous prevalence, incidence of a continuing state of patients accounted for43%, of27patients,62patients had diagnosed by colonoscopy. Severity:mild was incorporated into the records of65%,40cases, moderate in17cases, accounted for27%, severe included5cases, accounting for8%of cases. Location:on14cases of rectal involvement, straight, sigmoid colon in16cases,9cases of left colon, rectum cecum in8cases,3cases of extensive colon, colonic lesions invaded and occupied12cases. Pathological staging:15cases in remission,47patients with active.3. TCM syndrome:Newly diagnosed in25cases of large intestinal damp-heat (40.32%),2cases of cold-damp repression of spleen qi deficiency (3.23%),4cases (6.45%), liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome in24cases (38.71%), Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney in4cases (6.45%), yin and blood deficiency accounted for1cases (1.61%), blood stasis intestinal complex in2cases (3.23%).4.Effect:It is96.8%the total effective rate of the therapy of traditional Chinese medicine, western medicine treatment, the total effective rate was82.3%, with differences between two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion:The incidence of1. UC in high level university culture, the incidence of mainly young people, such as teachers’occupation pressure, technical personnel and other diseases, the incidence of temper easily.2. Patients relapse after treatment of Western medicine in the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine less recurrence, curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of the western medicine treatment.3. Lesions in the rectum, rectosigmoid colon. Patients were more parts product colonic lesions.4. In some cases in the TCM syndrome points and endoscopic index reaction degree with colonoscopy performance correlation co.5.UC in damp-heat syndrome and liver depression and spleen deficiency patients see more.6. Chinese medicine treatment is better than western medicine treatment,3months of treatment with traditional Chinese medicine treatment of large, half year relapse control of traditional Chinese medicine with western medicine for good.
