Around Sexual Facial Paralysis Pathogenic Factors Analysis

This thesis includes two parts:literature review and clinical research.On the basis of inspection of350documents, literature review expounds facial paralysis from two different angles:the Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Western Medicine. The traditional Chinese medicine review mainly summarizes the development of facial paralysis nonaggressive, the knowledge of its etiology and pathogenesis from ancient literature and modern research, the clinical diagnosis and its syndrome type,as well as various methods of acupuncture and herbs in the treatment of the disease. The Western review mainly summarizes the epidemiological profile of facial paralysis,mainstream etiology hypothesis, neural anatomy and pathological changes, the points of how to make the diagnosis and differential diagnosis from the signs and symptoms and a variety of localization and characterization test,and the medical and surgical treatment methods.Clinical research includes six parts:research purpose,clinical data,determine standards,research methods,findings,conclusions and discussions.Objective:To analyze the influence relationship of related peripheral factors of facial paralysis to the occurrence and duration of the disease, in order to guide the clinical judgment of the prognosis of the disease in the early, especially to diagnosis the refractory facial paralysis, so as to take measurs as early as possible to improve the curative effect, reduce the incidence of sequelae and complications.Methods:Designs a questionnaire of facial paralysis pathogenic factors, make the facial paralysis patients who comes for treatment to complete the filling. The questionnaire recordes the patient’s basic information, and askes patients usually eating and living habits, the incentives of the disease, the symptoms and signs, the treatment process, and finally recordes the treatment outcomes and how long it takes in time. Uses SPSS17.0to analysis The data collected. Makes descriptive statistics analysis of factors such as gender,age,body weight,incidence of the season and the weather,incentives,symptom type,the injured segments,the treatment process,and the final course of the disease;regardes the effect of this factors to the course of the disease,takes step by step regression method to screen a greater impact factor and does the logistic regression analysis further.Results:1. The disease can occur in any age,but mainly concentrates in the15-45age group; no significant difference in the incidence of gender or the left and right side;it can occur in any season,the largest number of incidence is autumn, the number of summer and winter is almost the same.2. The total cure rate Of40patients is80%,the cure rate within3months is75%. Refractory facial paralysis patients healed20%.3. About the relationship between age and the course of disease,makes a sort of the average duration,35-65age group>65upper age group>35lower age group, makes a sort of the proportion of refractory facial paralysis,65upper age group>35-65age group>35lower age group.4. The relationship between seasons and the course of the disease by logistic regression analysis is statistically significant,and the risk of autumn which cause a longer duration is higher than other seasons,and in the descriptive statistics of duration, the onset of summer is significantly longer than fall and winter.5. Cold and fatigue is major causes of facial paralysis,and the patients with cold, fatigue and mood changes have longer duration in average and bigger proportion in developing to refractory facial paralysis than the patients with no such incentives.6. The patients who has ear pain symptoms make the disease duration significantly longer than patients without this symptoms. With the higher segment of the nerve injury,the average duration will be longer,the prognosis will be worse.7. Use of hormone therapy in patients makes the average duration in the long side.8. The duration and the probability to go into the after-effects of patients with "three high" previous history is greater than patients with no previous history, make a sort of the average duration of "three high".high cholesterol> hyperglycemia> high blood pressure.9. It can be found in the analysis of the relationship of BMI and duration that the unusual weight group course longer duration than the normal weight group.The analysis of the incidence of left and right sides and the bias of cold and heat shows,the right side makes the average duration slightly longer than the left side,the cold one makes the average duration slightly longer than the heat one.10. In the analysis of smoking, drinking and food cravings,the conclusion is patients with smoking,drinking and food cravings factors have shorter duration then the patients without these factors. And the conclusion of food cravings is statistically significant in the logistic regression analysis.11. Makes a sequence from small to large with p value of the factors which has no statistically:emotional,smoking,positioning,tired,sick side,high cholesterol,age,gender,hormones,cold,BMI,alcohol,high blood pressure hyperglycemia.Meaning:In this study,explores the relevant factors and the relevant law of facial paralysis onset and duration,in order to provide some clinical guidance and theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral facial paralysis especially refractory facial paralysis,to give full play to the advantages of acupuncture treatment of the disease.
