OBJECTIVE:To observe the therapeutic effect and safty of Cataplasma of External Formula of Pyretic Arthralgia in treating pyretic arthralgia.METHODS:Clinical study:Patients with60cases which diagnosed as pyretic arthralgia, were randomly divided into the treatment group of30cases,30cases in the control group. The treatment group was given Cataplasma of External Formula of Pyretic Arthralgia, the control group was given Flurbiprofen cataplasm, both of them have a14days’ course of treatment last. By obserbing two groups’ TCM syndrome integral, ESR, CRP before and after treatment, evaluation the clinical efficacy and safety of two groups. Exploring the therapeutical effect of Cataplasma of External Formula of Pyretic Arthralgia in treating pyretic arthralgia.RESULTS:Clinical study:TCM syndrome score of two groups significantly improved after treatment (P<0.05). And the treatment group was significantly better than the control group (P<0.05). The ESR of treatment group significantly improved after treatment (P<0.05), meanwhile the control group’ ESR s ignificantly improved after trea tment(P<0.01). There is no significant differences between the two groups (P>0.05). Two group’s CRP significantly improved after treatment (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). The total clinical efficiency of the treatment group(83.3%) was better than patients in the control group(53.3%) which indicating the clinical effect of treatment group was better than the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse react ions of the control group(3.3%) was lower than the incidence of adverse reaction of the control groupwas (10%), adverse reaction of the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Cataplasma of External Formula of Pyretic Arthralgiahe treatment of pyretic arthralgia patients, can improve TCM syndrome integral, reducing the inflammatory index (ESR, CRP), the clinical curative effect, good security, is worth the clinical promotion.
