Objective：To observe the clinical effects of self-made Pingmaidingji compoundon rapid ventricular arrhythmia(Qiyinliangxu type).Material and method：The88patients of rapid ventricular arrhythmia wererandomly divided into the Compound Pingmaidingji compound group（A group40cases）、the Wenxin Granule group（B group20cases） and the blocker group（C group28cases）, in order to observe the improvements of clinical symptomsand ventricular arrhythmia before and after treatment.Results：1. By observing and comparing the EKGs before and after treatment:The totaleffective rate of A group is95.0%(40cases),the total effective rate of Bgroup is75.0%(20cases) and the total effective rate of C group is85.7%(28cases). Group A, group B and group C all P <0.05, the difference was statistically significant and group B and group C the difference was statistically significant (P>0.05).2.Therapy evaluation of clinical symptoms: Results21was out of40cases recovery,12cases was excellent efficacy and5cases was efficacy,2cases was failed and total effective rate was95.0%.The differences between groupA and group C were significant (P<0.05). The differences between group A and group C were significant (P<0.05), while the difference between A group and B group was not significant (P>0.05).3.Three different types of arrhythmia: the treatment of sinus tachycardia(P>0.05) treatment group and control group have no significant difference;atrial premature beats, paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia treatment(p<0.05).The treatment of group A was better than control group B; and the treatment of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (P>0.05).The treatment of group A was better than control B and group C.4. Integral change in Chinese medicine clinical symptoms before and after treatment: the treatment of group A than with the same group before treatment, P <0.05, with the control group B, Group C after treatment comparison P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant. Description Ping pulsewas given to palpitate compound and Chinese medicine symptoms improved significantly was better than the control groupConclusion：The effectiveness of Pingmaidingji decoction on treating rapidventricular arrhythmia obviously is better than other groups,especially for thesinus tachycardia、APC、PVC and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.
