Objective:Through the observation of combined acupuncture and medicinein treating various stages of hemifacial spasm, the choice of optimal treatmenttime.Methods:60patients met the inclusion criteria for hemifacial spasmpatients according to clinical onset time is divided into three groups ofclinical observation. The first group (n=20) onset time in a month;Groupsecond (n=20) onset time in a month after6months;Group third (n=20) onsettime in more than6months;More than three patients were treated with acupuncturecombined with traditional Chinese medicine treatment. Main points foracupuncture point (pulsatility point), baihui, taiyang, sibai, xiaguan,Quanliao, yingxiang, dicang, contralateral Hegu,Selection of acupoints andupset: irritability, mood swings, combined with acupuncture at Taichong、fengchi;Insomnia combined with acupuncture Neiguan, anmian; Upper eyelidbeating with Shen Mai, yuyao, sizhukong; Lower eyelid beating with Zhaohai.Traditional Chinese medicine for oral Decoction on facial paralysis, a agent,decoct with water, three times a day orally.Results:The first group of the total efficiency of100%, second groups ofthe total efficiency of90%, third groups of the total efficiency of65%,UsingSPSS.17.0statistical analysis software, the P <0.05, with significantdifferences, the first group efficacy than the other two groups.Conclushion:Combination of medicine and acupuncture in treating early facial spasm besteffect.
