| Purpose:To observe the clinical curative effect of acupuncture combined with qianzheng powder in the treatment of idiopathic facial spasm.Material and method:Participants included 40 patients with idiopathic facial spasm. These patients according to the statistics of randomized methods could be divided into two groups:treatment group (acupuncture combined with qianzheng powder) 20 cases and the control group (conventional western medicine therapy) 20 cases. Treatment group: Acupuncture treatment:The orbicularis oculi muscle spasm:Cuanzu, Yuyao, Sibai, Yifeng;Cheek and spat cramps:Quanliao, Yingxiang, Dicang, Jiache, Dicang. Cooperate with the dialectical:stirring wind due to yin deficiency added Taixi, Sanyinjiao; blood deficiency causing wind added Zusanli, Xuehai; with blood stasis added Taichong;with cold added Fengchi, Hegu. Oral qianzheng powder 5g,2 times a day, with warm water. The control group:conventional western medicine therapy:oral carbamazepine 0.2g,3 times a day. Treatment for 3 weeks. Two groups of patients in three weeks, carried on the curative effect evaluation.Results:1. After 3 weeks treatment, the treatment group:significant efficiency was 65.00%, effective rate was 30.00%, total effective rate was 95.00%, without efficiency was 5.00%; Control group:significant efficiency was 40.00%, effective rate was 25.00%, total effective rate was 65.00%, without efficiency was 35%.2. By statistical tests, the treatment group total effective rate and significant efficiency were superior to the control group.3. By statistical tests, treatment group course is shorter than the control group.Conclusion:1. Acupuncture combined with qianzheng powder and conventional western medicine therapy in the treatment of idiopathic facial spasm all had certain curative effect, but Acupuncture combined with qianzheng powder curative effect was more significant.2. The therapy of acupuncture had the advantage of the high significant efficiency, the high total effective rate, and the short course with less side effects and easy to operate, worthy of clinical popularization and application. |
