BackgroundNowadays, with the development of life and medical security, the people’s requirement for medical service and quality is increasing, and also people pay more attention to their own interests in hospital. However, the reform and development of the medical and health services relatively lag. The quantity of medical disputes increases year by year and the doctor-patient relationship has become increasingly nervous lead to the "medical trouble" happening occasionally.The increasing medical dispute reflects the awakening of awareness for rights safeguarding. However, the medical dispute and trouble will decrease people’s belief to medicine and create many social unstable factors. How to avoid and deal with the medical disputes is the topic for all the society.On the basis of the above background, this essay analyzes and discusses the86cases happened during the10years in some second-class hospital. Analyze the main cause to the dispute and propose the handing method and precautionary measures with the experience domestic and aboard. And supply reference to other hospitals.Objective:Sum up the86cases happened from Jan.2003to December,2012in some second-class hospital and analysis every aspect of them from the main reason of medical disputes, the department of the dispute,the solutio-n,the compensation amount,the job and the cultural level of the patients,the medical trouble action. Discuss the main cause to the dispute and propose the handing method and precautionary measures with the experience domestic and aboard and supply reference to other hospitals.Method:1、All the materials of this essay are from the86cases happened in some second-class hospital from January in2003to December in2012and are sorted in this essay. And all the needed information are from CJFD, SWIC and Wanfang database.2、Build the database with Excel2003and process and analysis package on the base of these information. With the descriptive analysis method, analyze the quantity of the medical dispute, the changing of the compensation amount, the main reason, the department of the dispute, the difference of the job and the cultural level of the patients and the medical trouble through the combined method of vertical and horizontal comparison.Results:1、From the analysis of the medical disputes, we can find that the medical damage, hospital management defects, the patients’ incomprehension to the medicine and un-smooth communication are the main causes of the medical dispute. And the disputes are focus in obstetrical department,orthopedics department, cardiology and pediatrics. The self-employed and the civil servant are the major groups in these disputes. And the patients’ educational level concentrated upon junior-senior high school and junior college takes the proportion on70%.2、Base on the analyze to the ways of resolution for the disputes, We can find that more than90%are resolved by the consultation of the hospitals and patients; and all the medical troubles happen in the process of the resolve method, especially in the self-employed businessman.3、We can get the conclusion with the analysis of the medical dispute compensation that the average amount of compensation has obviously changing; and the average amount of medical damage and management is higher; and the average amount for neurosurgery, pediatrics, chest surgery and obstetrics is large; the average amount for medical trouble is2.5times to the no medical trouble; the highest amount is for civil servants and the lowest is for peasants. Suggestions:1、Pay attention to the medical quality management and improve the technical level.2、To do a good job for guard work in the key departments and decrease the medical disputes in these departments.3、Building the good mechanisms and team for the medical disputes treatment.4、Get the advance experience aboard and do the medical risk management.5、Crack the medical trouble firmly6、Search the mechanisms fit for our national conditions on the basis of the foreign advance experiences.
