The Clinical Observation Of The Treatment Of Upper Limb Fracture By Open Reduction And Internal Fixation With Gu Yu Ling Capsule

Objective: to observe and evaluate the clinical effect of ORIF withguyuling capsule,in order to offer basis on choosing clinicalmedicine for alleviating pain,promoting detumescence, boostingbone union.Methods: From Aug2011to Oct2012,60cases of upper limb fracturewere treated in orthopaedic Ward of Taihe hospital, Age between20to49years old.All these cases were divided into two groupsrandomly with the random number,including30case in Treatmentgroup(ORIF+the guyuling capsual) and30cases in the controlgroup (only ORIF).Recording the general information, surgerydata,swell and pain grade, the days in hospital, poroma grade、fracture line grade of all cases. The diagnosis standard wasaccording to the 《the standard of disease diagnosis and curativeeffect in Chinese traditional medicine》and《fracture and jointinjuries diagnosis classify, and function criticizestandard》.The pain grade is in line with VAS grade, swell gradeis accord to swell degree of naked eye.The age,the swell degree,pain degree,length of stay，poroma grade，fracture linegrade of the two groups were evaluated and compared.Result: All the patients were followed. The age of treatment groupwas34.36±8.3, The age of the control group was33.5±8.24, sothere was no Significant difference at the age between the twogroups(p>0.05). There was no significant difference betweentreatment group and control group at swell degree of the first,thethird and the tenth postoperative day (p>0.05).But there wassignificant difference at swell degree of the fifth and the seventhpostoperative day (p<0.05).And there was significant difference atpain degree of the first, third and the seventh postoperative daybetween the two group(p<0.05). There was no significant differencein length of stay in hospital (p>0.05). There was significantdifference between the treatment group and control group atfracture line score of4、8、12、16weeks afteroperation(p<0.05).There was significant difference between thetreatment group and control group at poroma score of8、12、16weeksafter operation(p<0.05), but there was no significant differencebetween the treatment group and control group at poroma score of4weeks after operation(p>0.05)Conclusion1. The guyuling capsual has the obvious function for the growthof poroma count and the disappear of fracture line.2. Guyuling capsual can alleyiate the swell degree and pain degree after the operation.
