Objective: Compare the general raw material and respiratory distresssyndrome (NRDS) infection situation of2683cases of late preterm (34weeks~366/7weeks) and the full term (37weeks~386/7weeks), Observe the clinicalcurative effect of using dexamethasone to prevent NRDS in late preterm (34weeks~366/7weeks) and full-term babies (386/7~37weeks weeks).Method: Retrospective analysis2683cases of late preterm birth (34weeks~366/7weeks) and the full term newborns (37weeks~386/7weeks) and themother material in11hospitals of Jilin province between January2011-November2012(patients hospitalized the first10days per month), Accordingto gestational age,the cases were divided into five groups, each group ofprenatal used of dexamethasone to promote fetal lung maturity as observationgroup, and the others that did not use dexamethasone set as control group, thencompared the general situation of two sets of data, also observed the incidenceof NRDS, estimated clinical efficacy of prenatal application of dexamethasoneto prevent respiratory distress syndrome in late preterm infants and full termneonates.Result: In2683cases which were included in the standard, the observationgroup,525cases (34~weeks,121cases;35~weeks,100cases;36~weeks,64 cases;37~weeks,138cases;38~weeks,102cases) and control group2158cases (34~weeks,132cases;35~weeks,246cases;36~week,277cases;37~weeks,457cases;38~weeks,1046cases). A total of259cases of NRDS,including:32cases of observation group:34~weeks,20cases (incidence16.53%);35~week,4cases (incidence4.00%);36~weeks,2cases (incidence3.13%);37~weeks,4cases (incidence2.9%);38~weeks,2cases (incidence1.96%).And227cases in cotrol group:34~weeks,63cases (incidence47.73%);35~week,35cases (incidence14.29%);36~weeks,2cases (incidence11.55%);37~weeks,45cases (incidence9.85%);38~weeks,52cases (incidence4.97%). Overall incidence: the observation group was6.10%, the controlgroupn was10.52%.Conclusion: Prenatal application of dexamethasone to prevent NRDS iseffective for late preterm infants and full term..
