| Objective:To investigate the prevalence and risk factors of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in Dalian Changhai county residents. Methods:Two thousand one hundred and six residents (≥18years) from Sea island〠Zhangzi island and Guanglu island in Dalian Changhai county were randomly selected by using a stratified multistage sampling. They were interviewed information on general lifestyle, received physical examination as heightã€weight and blood, and measurements for renal damage as well as risk factors. Fasting blood samples and morning urine samples were collected to detect Serum creatinine(Scr)ã€blood urea nitrogen(BUN)ã€blood-fat and urinary protein. Glomerular filtration rate (GFR) was calculated to estimate the renal function. Results:Eligible data of two thousand one hundred and six subjects were included in the study. The prevalence of CKD was4.4%(male4.2%, female4.4%), the prevalence of albuminuria was3.7%(male3.5%. female3.8%), the prevalence of reduced renal function was0.9%(male1.4%, female0.8%). The prevalence of CKD both increased with age in male and female. Logistic regression analysis and stratified analysis showed Elder, high blood pressure, overweight or obesity were associated with CKD independently.Conclusion:(1)The prevalence of CKD is4.4%in Dalian Changhai county residents (male4.2%. female4.4%).(2)The prevalence of CKD both increased with age in male and female.(3)ndependent risk factors associated with kidney damage are age, high blood pressure and obesity. |
