The Effects Of Tongmai Granules On Platelet Activation In Patients With Chronic Stable Angina With Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis

Objective:Through the clinical observation of traditional Chinese medicine"Tongmai Granule"on coronary atherosclerotic heart disease (Coronary heart disease, CHD for short) chronic stable angina patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis effect of platelet activation, discuss the mechanism of Tongmai Granule "in the treatment of CHD with Qi deficiency and blood stasis.Methods:According to the random method,87cases of coronary heart disease chronic stable angina patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis in inclusion criteria was divided into western medicine group (A group)30cases, Tongmai granule group (B group)29cases, Tongmai Granule plus Western medicine group (group C) in28cases. According to the design of each drug for4weeks, recorded group three patients before treatment,4weeks after the treatment of plasma P selectin levels, and recorded the relevant biochemical markers and adverse reaction. Chose healthy adult volunteers measured in20cases of plasma P selectin as control group (group D) and the results were statistically analyzed.Results:Firstly, plasma P selectin levels in patients with coronary artery disease chronic stable angina increased more obviously than the healthy control group,the difference was very significant (P<0.01). Next, after4weeks ’or2weeks’ treatment, plasma P selectin levels in Tongmai group,Western medicine group and combined group were all significantly reduced, compared with which before treatment,which showed that plasma P selectin level can be significantly reduced by each kind of method. After2weeks’ treatment plasma P selectin levels of the three groups were statistically significant (P<0.01), suggested that combined group improve plasma P selectin most obviously, western medicine group for the second,but Tongmai group just improve a bit. Moreover,after4weeks’treatment, plasma P selectin levels in western medicine group and Tongmai group of had not obvious difference (P=0.337), but combined group and Western medicine group, combined group and Tongmai group, have statistical significance (P<0.01), Tongmai granule combined with western drugs can decrease plasma P selectin level.last but not the least, Tongmai group and Tongmai+western medicine in the treatment of patients had no particular discomfort during treatmentliver, renal function showed no significant abnormality.Conclusion:At first, plasma P selectin in CHD with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome patients elevated obviously, compared with healthy people.Secondly, single Tongmai granule can reduce plasma P selectin level in the CHD chronic stable angina patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis which had the same effect as Western medicine.But the Tongmai Granules had no significant side effects and patient compliance was good. thirdly, Tongmai granule combined with western drugs significantly reduced plasma P selectin levels in CHD chronic stable angina patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis showed that Tongmai granule combined with western drugs had synergistic effect. Finally, Chinese traditional medicine Tongmai granule has no obvious toxic side effects and adverse reactions in treating dose.
