Objective: Two treatments were selected in this study—herbs-separated moxibustionat the navel and no medicine moxibustion at the navel to cure the patients with primarydysmenorrhea, in order to observe the difference of metabolomics mechanism with the twomethods, attempts to explain the mechanism of herbs-separated moxibustion at the navel intreating primary dysmenorrhea.Methods:20patients with primary dysmenorrhea were randomly divided into twogroups,10cases in the group of herbs-separated moxibustion at the navel;10cases in thegroup of no medicine moxibustion at the navel. Then we processed the blood and urinesample of before and after trestment and analysised metabolomics, in order to compare thedifferences between the two groups.Result: The metabolite spectrum of herbs-separated moxibustion at the navel and nomedicine moxibustion at the navel to cure the patients with primary dysmenorrhea hasundergone significant changes. The metabolite of more significant change has aminoacid, steroid and alkaoids and so on. These metabolites are mainly related to process ofamino acid metabolism and steroid metabolism and so on. Moxibustion at the navel can beby reducing prostaglandin, estradiol, dopamine, norepinephrine, oxygen free radicals andcalcium content, and improving progesterone and nitric oxide to relieve the uterine smoothmuscle spasm in order to alleviate dysmenorrhea. Compared with the group of no medicinemoxibustion at the navel, the group of herbs-separated moxibustion at the navel can be byreducing the content of progesterone and calcium to alleviate dysmenorrhea, while thegroup of herbs-separated moxibustion at the navel was beter than the group of no medicinemoxibustion at the navel to reduce the content of estradiol, dopamine and oxygen freeradical and improve the content of progesterone and nitric oxide. Conclusion: The drugs of herbs-separated moxibustion at the navel can strengthen theeffect of moxibustion at the navel, its mechanism is mainly by reducing the prostaglandin, estradiol, norepinephrine, dopamine, oxygen free radicals and calcium content andimproving progesterone and nitric oxide content to regulate the functions of uterus to cureprimary dysmenorrhea. |
