| Objective: Two treatments were selected in this study—herbs-separated moxibustionat the navel and needling Sanyinjiao(SP6) to cure the patients with primary dysmenorrhea,in order to observe the influence on uterine artery blood flow try to explain the mechanismof the therapy of herbs-separated moxibustion at the navel to cure primary dysmenorrhea.Methods:58patients with primary dysmenorrhea were randomly divided into twogroups,30cases in the group of herbs-separated moxibustion at the navel;28cases in thegroup of needling Sanyinjiao(SP6). Then we observed the severity changes of uterineartery blood flow before and after four menstrual cycles intervention treatment, andcompared the differences between the two groups.Result: Both the group of herbs-separated moxibustion at the navel and the group ofneedling Sanyinjiao(SP6) alleviated the severity of abdominal pain, the differencesbetween prior-treatment and post-treatment were significant(P<0.01). Both the group ofherbs-separated moxibustion at the navel and the group of needling Sanyinjiao(SP6) canregulate uterine artery blood flow. But the group of herbs-separated moxibustion at thenavel is better than the group of needling Sanyinjiao(SP6) to improve uterine artery flowand speed up the blood flow. Conclusion: The effects of the therapy of herbs-separated moxibustion at the navel tocure primary dysmenorrhea are notable. One of the mechanisms is to regulate uterine arteryand the arcuate artery hemodynamics that is to improve uterine blood circulation and easeor remove the uterus smooth muscle spasm of hypoxia. |
