Objective:To understand the status and training needs of junior nurses standardizedtraining,to explore the ability level and junior nurses standized training contents,thereby enhancing the comprehensive ability of nurses to improve clinical quality,tomeet patient’s needs and adapt to the needs of the community care services.Methods:In this study,through the Delphi method and questionnaire to design Juniornurses standardized training expert consultation questionnaire and The questionnaireof junior nurses standardized status and needs.Clinical nurses specialists and nurses ofBeijing are conducted in the questionaire surey.Statistics the effective questionnaires,analysis the nurses standardized training status and training needs and study the abilitylevel and junior nurses standardized training.Results:1.The general status of nurses standized training:89.8%(1266/1410)nurses know thestandardized training.For more than80%junior nurse are satisfied on hospitalsatisfaction evaluation of standardized training.2.The status and needs of training content,methods and time:The top five of contents isbasic care skills,the theory of basic nursing,specialist care skills,specialist nursingtheory and rules and regulations.The bottom five contents are occupational protection,ward managements skills,research and thesis writing of nursing,computer knowledgeand English.The way of training is constration on training and nursing rounds.Teaching methods is demonstration and theoretical instruction. The most highfrequency of theoretical training and skills training time is once a month. Nurses believethat the needs of nursing aesthetics,sociology,philosophy,English, military medicine,disaster medicine and literature search are not so high for junior nurses,but clinicalpractices are high.Compared with the current training and teaching methods,more than90%nurses believe that the needs of exchange of experience and medical cooperationand case discussion should be added(P<0.05). The highest rate of training time oftheory and operation is once a month.3.The status and needs of rotation training for junior nurses:There is26.5%(155/585)nurses began to rotate one year after work.The top3of rotation sectionare similar or related professional departments,clinical department and the intensive care unit.38.4%(541/1410)nurses hope that two years after work to rotate.More than50%nurses believe that junior nurses should also need to rotate the training bases ofemergency department and emergency care and intensive care unit training base(P<0.05).4.The demands of teaching needs for junior nurses: Education teacher should have aBachelor degree,nurses and charge nurses,and adopt the way of one teacher teachingone student.5.Through two rounds of experts advice,we finalize five classifications of nurses’professional competence of junior nurses from N1to N5.The contents of junior nursesstand ardized training include six first level indicators and80second level indicatiors.Conclusions:The status of junior nurses standizedized training contents focused ontheory and skills training. Human qualities and clinical practices should be enhanced.The needs of training methods,time and rotation training are consistent with trainingstatus. Training contents can be reasonable set in accordance with the size of weightvalue,so that the training of junior nurses have a coherent and systematic training.
