| Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of external application of Shenling baizhu powder combined with TDP irradiation treatment of spleen deficiency and dampness-heat syndrome in Irritable bowel syndrome;and give preliminary mechanism discussion on it; To provide the possible theoretical foundation of Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment of spleen deficiency and dampness-heat syndrome in Irritable bowel syndrome.Method:60cases of spleen deficiency and dampness-heat syndrome in Irritable bowel syndrome were randomly divided into experimental group (32cases) and control group (28cases). On the basis of general treatment add-on TDP irradiation, experimental groups were given external Application of Shenling baizhu powder on the Shenque Accupoint,control groups were given,after four weeks,observerd varieties of the main syndromes (bellyache,bowel movement),secondary syndromes (abdominal distension,urgent defrecation,insomnia) and nitric oxide,5-HT in pre-therapy and post-treatment. Results:Experimental group, the total effective rate of81.7%in the control group, the total effective rate was71.4%, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05); Experimental group and control group before and after treatment of symptoms (abdominal pain, fever, nausea, vomiting, abdominal tension, tongue and pulse), laboratory tests (urine amylase, fasting blood glucose, serum calcium, serum creatinine, hematocrit, WBC, CRP), the remission time (the time of fasting, serum amylase returned to normal time, length of stay, and etc) and other indexes were significantly different (P <0.05).However, these indicators showed no significant difference (P>0.05) between the two groups of before and after treatment.Conclusion:External application of Shenling baizhu powder has better clinical curative effect on spleen deficiency and dampness-heat syndrome in Irritable bowel syndrome,the mechanism may have relationship with increasing the level of Serum Nitric Oxide and restraining the high level of5-HT, which can decrease visceral hypersensitivity. |
