The Research Of The Clinical Effect Of Liuweidihuang Pill-Calglucon On Primary Osteoporosis

Bcakground:Nowdays, with the increasing population of the elderly in China, more and more people suffer from osteoporosis. Osteoprosis has become a medical and social problem which leads to heavy social burdens and serious danger to people’s health. Otherwise, how to prevent and treat osteoporosis effectively is imminent.Objective:To research the clinical therapeutic effect of liuweidihuang pill-Calglucon on primary osteoporosis.Methods:60patients diagnosed with primary osteoPorosis were randomly divided into two groups.The intervention group of30patients was treated by oral liuweidihuang pill6g tid and Calglucon lg Tid. The control group of30patients was treated by oral Calglucon1g Tid. Course of treatment was6months. The changes of clinical symptomatic scales and bone mineral density(BMD) after the treatment were observed.Results:The total effective rate was90%in intervention group,which was significantly higher than60%of the control group6months after treatment(P<0.01). The symptomatic scales in two groups decreased significantly after treatment(P<0.01), with more obvious symptomatic amelioration in intervention group than control group(P<0.05). The BMD of femoral bones in two groups increased compared with before the treatment (P<0.05), with more obvious symptomatic amelioration in intervention group (P<0.05). The biochemieal indicator (Ca、 P、 ALP) in2groups has no marked difference compared with before the treatment(P>0.05).Conclusions:Liuweidihuang pill can remarkably raise the BMD of osteoporosis patients and improve clinical symptoms, effectively preventing and treating osteoporosis. In that therapeutic method, the mineral bone density can be increased effectively and the osteoporotic pain in lumbar and back of the patients can be relieved obviously.
