ObjectiveDysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB), as a common and multiple ailment of women, predisposing to the female puberty and menopausal transition, has plagued the majority of patients for a long time. The clinical manifestations of DUB are:menstrual cycle disruption, menstrual cycles varies in length and uncertain menstrual quantity. In modern medicine, it is classified as non-ovulation type reactive bleeding and ovulation type reactive bleeding, and in the main clinical treatment hormones is frequently used, since it takes effect quickly, but side effects occur easily, efficacy unsustainable and recurrent which is difficult to come to terms for the patients. The Chinese medicine in treatment of this disease has an unique advantage. This thesis mainly discusses treatment of deficiency of spleen type DUB with Chinese medicine soup compared with medroxyprogesterone acetate which aims to hemostasis quickly, and improve symptoms and anemia as well as other complications effectively. And this thesis discusses the validity of this method through actual clinical application, in order for provide scientific and effective practice material for Chinese medicine therapy.MethodsChoose33qualified patients with deficiency of spleen type of uterine and divide them into two groups randomly:the treatment group(22patients) and the controlled group(11patients), and take treatment for10days. Then collect the clinical data before and after treatment such as patients’symptoms, lingual vein, the value of HGB, FIBC, DDi, Thromboxane and changes of body temperature for statistical analysis by using SPSS13.0.ResultsBefore taking treatment, HGB value of the treatment group and the controlled group shows no significant difference (P=0.8848) comparing with that after taking treatment (P=0.9306). Before taking treatment, FIB_C value of the treatment group and the controlled group shows no significant difference (P=0.3548) comparing with that after taking treatment (P=0.1109). Before taking treatment, DDi value of the treatment group and the controlled group shows no significant difference (P=0.5648) comparing with that after taking treatment (P>0.05). Before taking treatment, TXA2value of the treatment group and the controlled group shows no significant difference (P=0.376) comparing with that after taking treatment (P=0.709). Whereas, clinical symptoms are significantly improved in the control group.ConclusionHemostasis and body strengthen soup has remarkable effect on treating deficiency of spleen type DUB. It achieves obvious result in hemostasis, as well as short-term and long-term curative effect. This method is safe and effective, almost has no adverse reactions and reduces the suffering of patients. So it is easy for the patients to accept and has great promotional value.
