This paper has monitored and discussed the physical and chemical properties, the moisture dynamic and vegetation status of the coal gangue mountain, and analyze the main influencing factors of the vegetation restoration of coal gangue mountain, based on restore ecology, relied on the280coal gangue mountain ecological restoration project of yangquan coal group company in Shanxi province. The objectives of this study is to design the mixed coverage model of the hillside coal gangue; Through the research of the new hybrid coverage of the sample on coal gangue mountain soil improvement and the influence of the vegetation restoration, and compared with the traditional coverage model, obtain the best mix of coverage model. Specific research results are as follows:1. The main factors of the coal gangue vegetation restorationBy monitoring the moisture dynamic situation of the280coal gangue, and the results show that soil coverd against the gangue mountain to keep water, soil covered gangue mountain water status is far lower than the bare mountain coal gangue, the growth of vegetation to drought stress formation;for determining the pH of the280coal gangue mountain, the results show that soil of the bare gangue area presented strong acid, seriously prevents plants from growing, but after cover soil, the nature of surface soil and the original earth basicly same, can for plant growth, loess can improve soil pH value favorablely;By monitoring the soil erosion situation of the280coal gangue, and the results show that both the bare coal gangue and the traditional management of coal gangue mountain, soil erosion is all serious,which is the main restricted factors of coal gangue vegetation restoration mountain; By monitoring the salt status of the280coal gangue, and the results show that no matter the bare or the soil cover coal gangue, the surface of coal gangue had a high salt content, both of them has reached above3%, almost exceeded all the vegetation live limit.2. Selection of plants with resistance of the coal gangue vegetation restorationAccording to adaptation of the drought resistance, salt tolerant and weathering of the coal gangue, and screened the suitable plants for the coal gangue mountain ecological restoration which are:Euonymus alatus, Juniperis rigida,Parthenocissus,Platycladus orientalis, Pinus bungeana,B. t. cv. Atropurpurea,Periploca sepium Bunge,Armeniaca sibirica (L.)Lam, Forsythia suspense, Caragana korshinskii,Festuca arundinacea. Portulacao leracea L,Polygon umaubertii L.Henry,Amorpha fruticosa, Robinia pseudoacacia.etc.3. The influence of cover soil slope for soil reclamation and the vegetation restorationThe mixture of loess and coal gangue covering new slope surface water cover means have favourable benefits for protect water and soil,which can improve the acidic environment of the coal gangue weathering, can make the gangue mountain pH close to normal level. Function of mixed coverage gangue for soil nutrient status and salt status are unconspicuous, need to find other ways to continue on coal gangue mountain soil environmental improvement. Plants grow well in the mode which coal gangue and cover loess mixed, and when coal wasting cover interval at0.15-0.25m, the coal gangue coverage at35%-45%, vegetation restoration condition is the optimal.
