The Process Of Industrial Clusters Innovation Research

Industrial districts (IDs) have a strong advantage in competition. With the development of the economic, lots of high-tech and knowledge-intensive IDs emerge, besides the traditional IDs. In the face of the fierce competition, many IDs can enlarge their independent innovation, so they can highlight their advantage and boost the economic development, while many IDs lose their advantage because of lack of innovation.As the development of global economy, technology innovation incarnates a country's comprehensive national strength. Innovation system in corporations is the main part of innovation system in a country. Whether IDs can survive or not depend on their innovation capability.How innovation processes in IDs have to be modified to assure their survival in a highly competitive environment? We addressed three questions about innovation processes in IDs in our literature. We adopted complexity science and used agent-based simulation methodology to answer these three questions.
