Research, implementation and application of a share technique for electronic medical records'information across distributed domains need to integrate and share patients' electronic medical information of each cooperation medical organizations. If there is inconsistent about data format definitions of patient electronic medical records' information among each cooperation medical organization, it will seriously affect the data share and use among each medical organization.Providing medical organizations across domains with a platform to share medial information of architecture open, function easy to be expand and suitable to the communication interfaces for information exchanges of native medical organizations has been researched in this paper by following the technology framework of information share for medical organaztions specified by the international IHE organization. Electronic medical records'information share and use across domains have been realized based on the platform without changing related data format definition and use modes of original information systems which there are in these medical organaztions already.The primary researched work and innovations in this paper are summarized as the followings:1,An overall solution of share platform for electronic medical records' information across distributed domains which is suitable to our nation, has been researched and designed in this paper by following the technology framework specified by the international IHE organization and combining the information systems' actual situation that has been built by native medical organizations.2,The software system architecture with decentralized storage and central registration of a share platform for electronic medical records' information across distributed domains has been proposed in this paper by refering the design philosophy of service-oriented software architecture (SOA) and following the IHE XDS technology framework to implement the share, exchange and use of electronic medical records' information among medical organization. 3,Establishing a common, flexible and simple model of electronic medical records registenation across distributed domains suit to the complex exchange condition for electronic medical records'information across distributed domains.4,Designing a storage solution of electronic information in domain is used to save the large amount of medical records data with integrity, reliability and manageability based on comparising and analysising the performance difference of Oracle XML DB and IBM DB2 pure XML database management system for XML document storage and retrieval.Practical application results show that the software system architecture of a share platform for electronic medical records' information across distributed domains and its technical implementation has been proposed in this paper, it can solve the "islands of information" problem among medical organization and also provide a good reference with supplying a share for electronic medical records'information and the federal system among Medical Alliance in domain.
