The Transformation Of Private-run Book Industry To Publishing

As the private assets joined Chinese publishing,the issuance and retail of publishing industry became more prosperous and brought a revolution of issue industry.After completing primitive accumulation of capital through issue industry, private-run book industry tried to engage in publishing,which developed unprecedently under publishing syetem reform. Under the influence of policy, environment and private publishing industry itself, private-run book industry gainning absolute copyright has a long way to go. Based on this, how private publishing getting copyright and how private-run book industry transforming is proposed in this paper.Based on the theories of publishing economics and publishing management,through the method of qualitative and quantitative research,this article summarizes five stages of the development of private-run book industry and its development status.Then the paper discusses the inevitability of transformation and the necessity of co-operative publishing. From some successful cases of co-operative publication between state-owned and private publishing enterprises,the article concludes several ways to transformation to publishing industry by co-operative publishing for private-run book industry.Next the paper objectively analyzes the opportunities to the development of private-run book industry transformation and bottleneck, suggests the government to strengthen the management of private-run book industry,make policies to promote the cooperation between state-owned and private publishing enterprises and create suitable environment for the transformation of private-run book industry,in addition to private-run book industry itself developes quickly during this time.
