Image processing technology have been developing rapidly along with the evelopment of computer, multimedia and data communication technology . And it has been widely applied in many areas ,such as in the industrial test, medical equipment, military, etc. Image processor need to complete the work of the receiving , sending and target recognition task of digital image. For the convenience of debugging of image information processor, shorten the development cycle and evaluation the system's performance, etc. Developing a testing system of image information processor have becomed very meaningful.First, through analysising the characteristics of function and application of testing system, this paper proposed the frame structure for the testing system. The testing system's functions were divided,and proper development technology was choosed for the system. This testing system application software was developed based on VC6.0. Data communication used PCI technology, images show used DirectDraw technology, core framework of system used multithreading technology.This paper puted emphasis on the research of multithreading technology. Design work for reading document threads, transmiting data thread and editing data thread have been completed, and problems of the communication and synchronization between multithread have been solved.Analyzing the original and types of noise and the related algorithm,the system could simulate common noise. The geometry transform algorithm for image was analyzed and studied, realized the target for image geometry transform simulations. Finally the design of the simulation scene image generation software module was finished.This paper have studied the performance evaluation module. Evaluation of target recognition performance has been divided into two phases. They are the pretreatment stage and target recognition phase. This permits people faster and more convenient to find the problem, and the system was improved instantly.Finally an instance of the application was realized. The model functions of sending, display, editing, control and monitoring have been achieved.The work for the simulation of scene images have been finished.
