Identity Construction Of Local Female Workers In Multi-field

At the view of field theory, this article has focused on the practice of daily life of local female workers in four important fields, such as workshops, dormitories, social and family. It has tried to reveal the general logic of identity construction through the analysis of female workers'behavior in these four fields.As local female workers would be into and out of these four different fields in their daily lives. So the capital and habitus of different fields have different effects on its field identity and identity construction. Although these effects arise from different fields and different aspects of the livelihoods of them, it would eventually reveal the female workers'daily lives in form of superposition. As a result the female workers'daily lives have displayed in the form of field superimposed effect of identity construction. Daily life f is a process of continuously generated. The female workers'identity must be constructed in different field. So formation process of the identity is also a continuous construction.Before specific analysis, I will put the local female workers under the macro-background of the national industrial layout adjustment. I will try to analysis the logic and identity construction of female workers'behavior from multiple levels with macro-background and field theory roundly.Firstly, I investigated the production plant workers physical status and identity construction. I think that the identity of the production plant was influenced on both production process itself and the potential constraints of the system of factory discipline. Secondly, I analysis the general interaction in the female dormitory. Of cause this field is mainly for living factory workers. Dormitory is the main leisure field outside the work-time, where they repair part of self-body through the complex interactions. Then I analysis the communicative action of the general social space for female workers. I found that whether living factory workers or home workers, social interaction field is not only the space of their common activities but also an important space to escape the system of factory discipline. They not only continue repair their own self-body but also set up their own social support networks. Then I analyzed the behavior of local workers in the family. They consists both her parents'and her in-laws', not a small-scale family or nuclear family, but the relative expansion of the "own family" groups. In this field, the female works who plays the daughter, sister, wife, daughter, mother's identity. Finally, we summary the whole article two dimensions, the institution and gender, the field and identity.
