| Objective: To Analysis of Clinical and Pathologic Characteristics between the Han and the Uygur Patients with Triple-negative Breast Cancer. Methods: We investigated a cohort of 121 patients with Triple-negative breast cancer, diagnosed between January 2007 and February 2010 at Xinjiang Medical University affiliated Tumor Hospital. The patients were divided into two groups:the Han patients and the Uygur Patients. the patterns of recurrence and the status of survival were retrospectively analyzed. Results: 1) There were 7.7% of Han patients among all breast cancer cases collected during the same period,5.4%of Uygur patients among all breast cancer cases collected during the same period. 2)The size of the tumor is mainly 2~5cm in Han patient (51.4%), but is mainly >5cm in Uygur patient (44.0%). 3) Han Women is mainly belong toⅡstage of TNM with triple-negative breast cancer (45.7), but the Uygurs Women is mainly belong toⅢstage of TNM (40.4%). 5) most of Han patients'pathological type is invasive ductal carcinoma (67.6%), and 74.0%in UyGur patients. 6) 64 the Han triple-negative breast cancer patients relapsed distantly ,while 19 the Uygur triple-negative breast cancer patients relapsed distantly (P<0.05). Metastasis in bones is more likely to occur than in organ in Uygur Patients, but metastasis in organs is more likely to occur than in bpnes in Uygur Patients. 7) The 5-year disease-free survival (DFS) rate in the Han patient subgroups was 59.5%, but 26.3% in Uygur ptients. And the overall survival (OS) of the Han patient subgroups was 67.6%, but 47.4% in Uygur ptients. The Uygur Triple- negative breast cancer patients had positive associated with shorter 5-year disease-free survival compared to Han women (P<0.05), but he Han Triple-negative breast cancer patients had positive associated with overall survival compared to Uygur women (P< 0.05). Conclusion: Our data suggested that, the size of the tumor of the Uygur patient is bigger than Han patient.there was significant difference of lymph node metastasis rate. Han Women is mainly belong toⅡstage of TNM with triple-negative breast cancer, but the Uygurs Women is mainly belong toⅢstage of TNM. The Uygur Patients with triple-negative breast cancer had shorter DFS and OS than Han patients had. |
